Are You Rolling With The Right Development Team?
>>Many businesses make the critical error of choosing just any old development team, and pay dearly.
December 17, 2009
Your organization has decided that it's time for a strong web presence, and indeed that is a wise decision. Considering the global market of today, and the elimination of geographical boundaries and time constraints that the web affords, it makes absolutely no business sense at all to
not be on the web. However, just the choice to have a website isn't in and of itself enough to begin taking full advantage of all that Internet has to offer. These days just about anyone who can edit a Myspace page can also "build" a website. So how do you know you've chosen a developer or development team that's going to help you reach your organization's goals of being on the web in the first place?

Take Full Advantage Of Social Networking Sites.
>>If you are involved with any type of activity that involves marketing or otherwise getting the message to the masses, sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace are great (and free) avenues to do so.

Everyone, especially businesses, loves free advertizing. Before the advent of social networking sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and as of recently - Twitter, there has never been more of a golden opportunity to reach people with your message and ads like there is today. As an organization, company, or even as an individual, the time is now to start capitalizing on this wealth of virtually free advertizing.

Isn't It Time To Start Thinking Seriously About SEO?
>>Your website does you or your target audience no good if it isn't able to be found. The world wide web is just that - WORLDWIDE! How can you reach everyone, everywhere?

It seems as if everytime you think you have Web technology mastered and the science of it all understood, another aspect of expertise rears its head. If I had a nickle - or even half of a cent - for every website there was lingering on the Internet, I would have no need to be a web developer other than for the pure love of designing sites. The point is, the notion of "build it and they will come" is not the approach to have with your website. This is especially true for sites that are designed for the purpose of business, spreading a message, or otherwise obtaining a goal that involves reaching masses of people. If you have a website, you need to make sure that it is easily found by those who are looking for what you have to offer.
