 It seems as if everytime you think you have Web technology mastered and the science of it all understood, another aspect of expertise rears its head. If I had a nickle - or even half of a cent - for every website there was lingering on the Internet, I would have no need to be a web developer other than for the pure love of designing sites. The point is, the notion of "build it and they will come" is not the approach to have with your website. This is especially true for sites that are designed for the purpose of business, spreading a message, or otherwise obtaining a goal that involves reaching masses of people. If you have a website, you need to make sure that it is easily found by those who are looking for what you have to offer.
